Visible light communication, also known as optical wireless communication or LiFi, is a new form of optical communication in which information is transmitted through light using bulbs with frequencies between 400 and 800THz, which corresponds to our visible frequency band. Simply put, we transmit information as the bulbs are switched on and off.
